I’m Starting A Postcard Club

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to launch a postcard club and bring my bike journey around the world a little closer to you!

I absolutely love documenting my journey through photos and videos and sharing digital bits here and there – but I also really love tangible mementos and ways to connect through physical mediums. So I got to thinking about how I could share my adventure with the people who follow and support me in a more physical way. And how cool would it be to become pen pals and receive good old-fashioned snail mail from whatever country I'm biking through?!

And from there, the postcard club was born! Once a month, I will shop around for a unique or emblematic or beautifully designed postcard from whatever country I am in and mail it out with a handwritten note.

Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia... the list goes on – you can have a little piece of my journey, and by extension these places, to keep on your fridge or in a frame, or in a box somewhere!

I also often get asked if there's a way for folks to support me while I complete this around-the-world cycle, and while it is so unbelievably kind – I don't really want to take something without giving something in return. Many long-term travelers save up as much as they can before beginning their journey and try to stretch that initial sum as far as they can to keep the dream going. Of course, I'm no stranger to budget travel, but I also have a couple of streams of income that allow me to continually earn money while I travel, so I never want to feel like I'm taking advantage of the kindness of others. I can support myself while I travel like this and so I only want to accept money from folks if I'm offering something, however small, in return.

I appreciate your support, kindness, and interest in following this adventure so dearly and it really makes my heart even fuller to be able to connect with so many people from all over the world.

I hope you'll join my postcard club and become a pen pal! Big love!
